Origin
1700-1899 (dating on palaeographic grounds) The earliest date of production—taking into account the handwriting—can be set to the eighteenth century. The name of ʾƎḫǝta Māryām owner is mentioned in a few supplication formulas following the phrase አመትኪ፡ ‘your maid’. This person was most probably the owner of the manuscript.

The manuscript was resewn. Two pairs of sewing stations have been added during the restoration process. All edges were trimmed.
Water stains on check the viewerfols 26r–31v .
The colour of the parchment of check the viewerfol. 2 (which originally formed a bifolium, but was cut to a single leaf) is brighter than all other folia. It might originate from a different production unit and might have been added to the text block at a later stage.
